There’s a comedy of errors taking place. It began with greedy ignorance, fueled by sloth and malfeasance. Honest, hardworking, individuals contributed with guileless inadvertence. Many people will be affected in various ways. I’d like to say more but I’m not supposed to. I am satisfied by our diligence. There is nothing to hide.
At some point, life experience allows us to determine what is worth our precious time. People are worth my time. All of my little ducklings are in a row and, for right now, they all seem content. It’s fall, both on the calendar and in the seasons of our lives. We’ve lived through sorrow, despair and worry. We’ll make it through this too. In the meantime, we’ve found happiness in garlic mashed potatoes.
Garlic Mashed Potatoes (serves 4 normal people or 3 exceptionally hungry ones)
- boil 5-6 med. potatoes, drain in pot
- add 1/2 stick lightly salted butter, 1/8 c. 1/2 n 1/2, press 3 good sized cloves of garlic into potatoes
- mash just a little
- add 1/4 c. grated parmesan
- finish mashing
