Imaginative Truth

The embassy attacks have been a logistical success. We’ve all heard of embassies staffed by spies; CIA, KGB, SIS, Mossad. It doesn’t strike me as unreasonable to entertain the possibility that wealthy Americans have funded the attacks to undermine current American foreign policy.

Truth or imagination, it could be the plot in a gut twisting novel…or an interesting footnote in the history of corruption forcing the decline of the greatest free society in the modern world.

truth or imagination; the fact that the idea can be seriously maintained says far too much as it is

Short, sweet, illuminating. Thank you for this.

Have you started a new blog? I just looked and it is very cool but I think I found you elsewhere before or maybe you just changed the look of the blog.

I’m not sure how illuminating the post is. It’s something that is running just below the surface all the time, a pervasive suspicion. I don’t like it one bit, we should be better adults.

You were one of my first followers way back when, and I changed the layout since then. It was called “The Capsule.” I’m thinking of another layout change soon.

In today’s culture, from politics to TV programming, everyone seems very content to let “just under the surface problems” pass unchecked. The issues staring us in the faces are the ones we love to avoid.

You could be right . . . it’s not out of the realm of possibility. However, this kind of thing could easily backfire on those who wish to oust Obama. Successfully provoking a war(s) just before an election is LESS likely to lead to a change in administration: as I remember it, history says voters are LESS likely to change presidents under such circumstances.

It’s fact that the GOP crowd will attack anything—if the sun comes up a minute late then it’s Obama’s failure to control the known universe—but I don’t see what it is that they think this administration is doing wrong here: before, during, or after. You cannot guard well against “crazy”—at home or abroad—and if you have embassies in volatile parts of the world then occasionally bad stuff is going to happen—it goes with the territory.

I think Obama and Clinton have shown top-notch ADULT leadership since the beginning of this crisis. Romney—who can say any damn thing he wants because he’s not responsible for doing “the job”—has not: he has been an irresponsible, shoot-from-the-hip idiot. Romney has just shown us how damn quickly he could get our country—others as well—into a real, real bad situation.

I wouldn’t be surprised. I considered it from a different angle. That someone stateside tipped some middle east “journalist” to the hate filled video.

  5. Just because you’re paranoid, it doesn’t mean they’re not out to get you.

THEY are afraid of me, I can tell.

Shouldn’t you be in the basement, does Linda know you’ve escaped?

      • I’m on cocktail hour release, actually a rather dangerous thing. I have been scouring your website for a post that goes back I don’t know how far. The image that keeps running through my mind is your being somewhere where you shouldn’t, your mother arrives, you try to exit through the back door, but it’s a door to nowhere and you’re clinging for your life outside the door, hoping it won’t open. Am I making this up?

      • elroyjones says:

No, sadly, you are not. I was at Dennis’s camp. Hang on and I’ll find it for you.

I was a holy terror, good for me!
