Barenaked Ladies sounds so lascivious. Don’t you worry, it’s intentionally misleading.
In May, I’ll go Somewhere Else for a few days for a family event. Later in the summer, I’m going to see Barenaked Ladies, Big Head Todd, Blues Traveler, and Cracker. The show is at night. I am almost confident that I can still stay awake long enough to stay out late.
I will not be taking a lawn chair. I’m not there yet.
Sounds like a lot of fun! I haven’t been to a concert in seven years, and that was Lyle Lovett, who puts on a fantastic show, but it isn’t like going to a CONCERT. The last one of those I went to was almost 30 years ago, when I saw Bruce Springsteen in 1986 on his birthday. Now that was a concert!
Bruce Springsteen, what fun!
I saw Bare Naked Ladies perform at Earth Day in Hartford, CT in the late 90s. It was a great show. My favorite part was the impromptu song they made up: Charred Flesh and Fried Dough. Because what else would you eat at an Earth Day festival?
I’m pretty excited, really like their irreverence!
Good for you! I know you’ll have fun!
BTW: Isn’t it fun to just say the words, “Barenaked Ladies” and “Big Head Todd”?
An astute observation, George, the title was too much fun to resist!
